So, how far is it really?
About five minutes, on a road you already drive down.
We are at 64 Manchester Road, which is the same road that runs between Wilmslow and Handforth, and we sit on the Handforth side of Wilmslow town centre. You reach us before you get into town.
Which makes this simpler than most of our location pages. We are not asking you to weigh up a journey. For Handforth residents we are essentially a local practice that happens to have a Wilmslow postcode, and both towns are SK9 anyway.
That means registering here for everything is entirely practical. Check ups, hygiene appointments, the children, the lot. Plenty of Handforth families do exactly that.
And if something more involved comes up, it does not need referring anywhere.
- Implant treatment:
Dr Nikhil holds a Master’s degree in Implant Dentistry from the University of Manchester, and carries out bone grafting, sinus lifts and zygomatic implants on site. Patients travel from across the North West for this, and you live five minutes away. - Complex root canal treatment:
Carried out by a clinician with a Master’s degree in Endodontics, including retreatment of failed root canals. Many practices refer these out or recommend extraction instead. - Cosmetic work:
Composite bonding, veneers and smile makeovers, led by Dr Natasja, who holds a Master’s in Prosthodontics. - Emergencies:
Being five minutes away matters more here than anywhere else on the site. If you wake up with toothache, you are not adding a drive to the problem. - Fifty years in the same building:
Continuity is worth considerably more in routine care than in anything else, because good decisions depend on somebody knowing your history.

Close by if something goes wrong
Worth a specific mention for Handforth, since proximity matters more in an emergency than anywhere else.
If you break a tooth, lose a filling or wake up with toothache, being five minutes away means we can usually get you seen without a significant journey while you are uncomfortable.
Call 01625 523 524. We will do everything we can to see you as soon as possible. Emergency appointments are £50 for assessment and pain relief, with any treatment quoted separately before we carry it out.
Existing patients are prioritised, though we help new patients in genuine discomfort wherever the diary allows.
If you have facial swelling that is spreading, difficulty breathing or difficulty swallowing, go to A&E or call 999 rather than waiting for a dental appointment.
