About Dr Natasja
Natasja leads the cosmetic side of Croft Dental, and her approach to it is deliberately restrained.
A great deal of cosmetic dentistry is designed to be noticed. Uniform brightness, identical shapes, teeth that announce themselves before the person does. Natasja works the other way round. She designs results that suit a patient’s face, age and natural colouring, so that the outcome reads as a healthy smile rather than dental work. Patients often report that friends commented they looked well without being able to say why.
That instinct is backed by serious technical training. Her Master’s degree is in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, which covers the design and construction of crowns, bridges, veneers and full mouth restorations. Cosmetic dentistry done properly is a structural discipline as much as an aesthetic one, and prosthodontic training is what allows a result to look good and last.
She also holds MFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, a postgraduate qualification in dental surgery, and she is a Platinum Invisalign Provider.
Natasja took over Croft Dental alongside Dr Nikhil Oberai in 2022.

Why the training matters for cosmetic work
Cosmetic dentistry is often presented as an artistic discipline, and the artistry is real. But a veneer that looks beautiful and fails in three years has not solved anything.
Prosthodontics is the branch of dentistry concerned with how replacement and restoration is designed, constructed and fitted so that it works. Bite, function, material choice, tooth preparation, longevity. It is the engineering behind the appearance.

Common Questions Patients ask Dr Natasja
It depends on how much change you want and how long you want it to last. Bonding is quicker, cheaper, reversible and usually needs no drilling, though it typically lasts five to seven years. Porcelain veneers last considerably longer and can achieve a more dramatic change, but they involve permanently preparing the tooth surface. Natasja will talk through which suits your case at your consultation.
Invisalign awards provider tiers based on the number of cases a clinician completes each year. Platinum sits in the upper tier. In practical terms it means more experience across a wider range of cases, including complex ones that lower volume providers may decline or refer on.
Not unless you want them to. Natasja designs towards natural proportion and colour by default, matching the result to your face and age. If you want a brighter or more uniform result, that is your choice to make, and she will show you the design before any treatment begins.
It depends entirely on which treatments are involved. A bonding based makeover might be complete in one or two appointments. A case combining Invisalign, whitening and veneers could run over twelve to eighteen months. Natasja will map out the full timeline at your consultation.
