About Dr Nikhil

Nikhil is one of the most academically qualified implant clinicians in Cheshire. His Master’s degree in Implant Dentistry from the University of Manchester involved several years of postgraduate study alongside supervised clinical practice, which is a considerably deeper qualification than the short certificate courses many dentists complete before offering implants.

That training matters most in the cases that are not straightforward. Patients arrive at Croft Dental having been told elsewhere that there is not enough bone, that the case is too complex, or that implants are simply not an option. Often they are. Nikhil handles bone grafting, sinus lifts and zygomatic implants, which means he can treat cases that many practices would refer away or decline.

He also treats a great many patients who need one implant and want it done properly. The care is the same either way.

Nikhil took over Croft Dental with Dr Natasja Kashyap in 2022, and has since invested in CBCT 3D scanning so that every implant case can be planned on site to the millimetre rather than sent elsewhere for imaging.

Treatments Dr Nikhil Provides

Single Dental Implants

Replacing one missing tooth with a titanium implant and a crown that matches the surrounding teeth.

All-on-4 Dental Implants

A full arch of teeth supported on four strategically placed implants, often suitable for patients who have been wearing dentures.

Full Arch Reconstruction

Rebuilding an entire upper or lower arch using implants, for patients with extensive tooth loss.

Zygomatic Implants

For patients with severe upper jaw bone loss where conventional implants are not possible. Zygomatic implants anchor into the cheekbone. Very few clinicians in the North West offer this treatment.

Bone Grafting and Sinus Lifts

Rebuilding bone volume so that implant placement becomes possible in cases that would otherwise be unsuitable.

Implant Retained Dentures

Securing existing or new dentures onto implants so they stay firmly in place.

Smile in a Day

Implant placement and a fixed set of teeth fitted on the same day where clinically appropriate.

The 99.5% Success Rate

What That Figure Actually Means

Across the implant cases Nikhil has completed, 99.5% have been successful. Success in implant dentistry means the implant has integrated with the bone, remains stable, and is functioning as intended.

Most clinicians do not publish a success rate. Some because they do not track it, and some because the number would not help them.

Nikhil publishes his because implant treatment is a significant decision and a significant investment, and patients deserve to know what they are buying. If you are comparing practices, it is a fair question to ask any implant clinician you speak to.

How Dr Nikhil Works

What to Expect

  1. A Proper Consultation First
Your Free 3D Smile Assessment is a full clinical consultation. Nikhil will examine your mouth, discuss what you want to achieve, and use CBCT 3D imaging where it is helpful. You will leave understanding your options.
  2. Everything Explained Before It Happens
The most consistent comment in Nikhil’s patient reviews is that he explains each step before carrying it out. If you want to know what is happening and why, he will tell you.
  3. Written Costs Before Treatment Starts
You will receive a written treatment plan setting out every stage and every cost. Nothing begins until you have agreed to it.
  4. Comfort Taken Seriously
The second most consistent comment in his reviews is that the treatment did not hurt. Implant surgery has a reputation that modern technique does not deserve.
  5. Aftercare That Continues
Implant treatment does not end when the crown is fitted. Nikhil reviews his patients afterwards and remains available if anything needs attention.

"I could not recommend Dr Nikhil more highly. He explained every single step. My new tooth looks so natural that I forget it is not the original."

Questions Patients Ask Dr Nikhil

An MSc is a postgraduate Master's degree taken over several years, combining academic study with supervised clinical practice. Many dentists who place implants have completed shorter certificate or diploma courses instead. Both allow a dentist to place implants legally, but the depth of training differs considerably, particularly for complex cases.

Not necessarily. Bone can often be rebuilt through grafting or a sinus lift, and where the upper jaw has insufficient bone, zygomatic implants anchor into the cheekbone instead. Several of Dr Nikhil's patients were told elsewhere that treatment was not possible. It is worth a second opinion.

Straightforward single implant cases usually take between three and six months from placement to final crown, allowing time for the implant to integrate with the bone. Some cases are suitable for same day teeth. Complex cases involving grafting take longer. Dr Nikhil will give you a realistic timeline at your consultation.

The procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic and most patients report feeling pressure rather than pain. Dr Nikhil's reviews consistently mention that treatment was more comfortable than expected. Some discomfort in the days afterwards is normal and manageable with ordinary painkillers.

How much do dental implants cost at Croft Dental?
A single implant starts from approximately £2,500, which includes the implant, abutment and crown. Complex cases are priced individually after consultation. Finance is available from 0% interest through Tabeo, and you will receive full written costs before anything begins.
