Croft Dental has looked after patients in Wilmslow since 1974. Today the practice combines that long history with postgraduate specialist training in implant and cosmetic dentistry, and the kind of care that keeps patients with us for decades.

"A practice with roots in Wilmslow"
Croft Dental opened its doors at 64 Manchester Road in 1974. In the fifty years since, we have treated three generations of some Wilmslow families, and patients now travel to us from Alderley Edge, Handforth, Knutsford, Prestbury, Macclesfield and across Greater Manchester.
In 2022 the practice was taken over by Dr Nikhil Oberai and Dr Natasja Kashyap. They inherited something worth protecting, which was a loyal patient base built on decades of consistent care, and they set about strengthening it.
Since then the practice has been substantially updated. We invested in CBCT 3D scanning so that implant cases can be planned to the millimetre on site rather than referred elsewhere. We expanded the clinical team to include postgraduate expertise in endodontics, advanced restorative dentistry and facial aesthetics. We rebuilt the way treatment is explained, so that every patient leaves a consultation understanding their options and their costs in full.
What has not changed is the reason people stayed with us in the first place. Appointments are unhurried. Questions get answered properly. Nobody is sold anything they do not need.
Our Principles
Honest advice, every time
We will tell you if a treatment is not right for you, and we will tell you if doing nothing is a reasonable option. Our reputation in Wilmslow was not built on selling treatment. It was built on giving people the information they need to make a good decision.
Clear pricing before anything begins
Every patient receives a written treatment plan setting out each stage and each cost before treatment starts. There are no surprises partway through, and no charges you were not expecting.
Expert training where it matters
Complex work should be carried out by clinicians who have trained specifically for it. Dr Nikhil holds a Master's degree in Implant Dentistry. Dr Natasja holds postgraduate qualifications in Prosthodontics. Our endodontic work is carried out by a clinician with a Master's in Endodontics.
Patience with anxious patients
A significant number of our new patients have avoided dental treatment for years, often after a difficult experience elsewhere. We do not rush those appointments and we do not pressure anyone. Several of our five star reviews come from patients who arrived terrified and now attend without a second thought.
Everything in one place
Implant surgery, cosmetic work, orthodontics, hygiene therapy, endodontics and facial aesthetics all happen at Manchester Road. Very few practices of our size can say that, and it means you are not sent elsewhere partway through your treatment.

What we have invested in
CBCT 3D scanning
Cone beam computed tomography produces a three dimensional image of your jaw, showing bone density, nerve position and sinus anatomy in detail that a standard x-ray cannot. Every implant case at Croft Dental is planned using CBCT imaging on site, which means more accurate placement and fewer complications. We also accept CBCT and OPG referrals from other practices.
Digital intraoral scanning
We take digital impressions rather than the older putty trays, which is faster, more comfortable and considerably more accurate. It also allows you to see your own teeth on screen during a consultation.
Digital smile design
For cosmetic cases we can show you a preview of the intended result before treatment begins, so you can see what is being proposed rather than trying to imagine it.
Fully compliant decontamination and surgery facilities
The practice is registered with and inspected by the Care Quality Commission, and all clinicians are registered with the General Dental Council. Our surgical facilities meet the standards required for implant placement.

Flexible Payment to Make Treatments Affordable
We are a private practice, and we are open about what that means. Our fees reflect the time, training and materials involved in the work we do.
For treatments over £500 we offer finance through Tabeo, our approved finance partner. Interest free options are available, and there are no hidden charges or arrangement fees. We will show you the monthly cost of any proposed treatment during your consultation so you can make a decision with full information.
We also offer a practice plan for patients who prefer to spread the cost of routine care across the year rather than paying per appointment.
